France Tour

Jul 03, 2007

The Baltimore Choral Arts Society made a triumphant tour of France in the summer of 2007, with sold-out performances in three cities, including Paris and Aix-en-Provence. Embarking on their first international concert tour since 1987, Music Director Tom Hall and the Chorus received standing ovations and enthusiastic cheers at every performance. During the Paris performance in the stunning Eglise Saint Louis en l'ile, the concert program included Mozart's Requiem featuring soprano Sarah Berger, alto Rebecca Trout, tenor William Jones, and bass Robert Cantrell.  The Chorus also performed Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto with soloist Langston Fitzgerald, III at the Eglise Collegiale St. Maurice in Angers, France.
