Kraushaar Auditorium

Tom Hall leads the full Chorus and Orchestra in Beethoven's "Elegiac Song," Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus," and Bach's "Magnificat." Baltimore Symphony Principal Trumpet Andrew Balio and soprano Nola Richardson open the program with Bach's Cantata No. 51. A varied program showcasing some of the greatest classical composers.

Back by popular demand! Music Director Tom Hall leads the Chorus, Orchestra, and YOU the audience in the magnificent choruses of Handel’s “Messiah.” Enjoy the surround-sound of this exhilarating experience. Tom Hall will be your musical coach and whimsical guide. No experience necessary! Bring your own musical score or purchase one at the concert.

The concert will be performed in Kraushaar Auditorium at Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson. Parking is free.

An annual family favorite, this fun-filled holiday program features an all-new show featuring Pepito the Clown, Music Director Tom Hall and the Chorus, and Santa of course!

A RUBY CABARET

The Grand Lodge Ballroom in Hunt Valley

Baltimore Choral Arts presents "A Ruby Cabaret" to benefit our education and outreach programs.

The evening begins at 6:30 pm and includes a delectable dinner, silent and live auctions and performances by the Chamber Chorus and a featured cabaret singer.

QUEST FOR PEACE: DONA NOBIS PACEM

Sunday, 26 April 2015 at 3:00 PM

Kraushaar Auditorium

Tom Hall leads the full Chorus and string orchestra in poignant and powerful settings of "Dona Nobis Pacem" by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Pateris Vasks as well as Arvo Part's beautiful meditation, "Da pacem Domine." Vocal soloists including soprano Hyunah Yu and bass-baritone Robert Cantrell, and the program also includes the local premiere of a jointly-commissioned motet by composer Jake Runestad.

"A Choral Conversation" follows the performance featuring Tom Hall and special guests including author and former President of the Alliance for Peacebuilding Chic Dambach, discussing the role that music and the arts play in peace-building.

The chorus as a whole responded impressively. And when Hall drove his forces along in the most dramatic, propulsive passages, the results were truly stirring.
