Songs of Love and Dreams
Tom Hall leads the full Chorus and string orchestra in a wonderful springtime program including the Baltimore premiere of Eric Whitacre’s "Five Hebrew Lovesongs." The concert also features the Baltimore premiere of Gwyneth Walker’s "Dreams and Dances," which draws on jazz-influenced poetry by former Maryland poet-laureate Lucille Clifton. George Friderick Handel’s exuberant cantata, "Dixit Dominus," which he composed at the age of 22, completes this evocative program.
A "Choral Conversation," sponsored by Bank of America, is included as part of the program.
The concert will be performed in Kraushaar Auditorium at Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson. Parking is free.
