Megan Callaghan

Megan is a nonprofit development strategist and fractional fundraiser specializing in arts and culture organizations. With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, she helps mission-driven organizations build sustainable development programs that support long-term artistic and organizational growth.
Throughout her career, she has led fundraising initiatives for more than 45 nonprofit organizations, designing data-informed development strategies that strengthen revenue and deepen donor engagement.
Prior to launching her consulting practice, Megan served as Senior Development Consultant at Donorly, where she advised a national portfolio of nonprofit clients and helped grow the firm from a five-person startup to a 25-member team by building operational systems, mentoring staff, and shaping service delivery.
Earlier in her career, she held roles with organizations including the Doris Duke Performing Artist Awards and STREB Extreme Action Company, gaining experience in grantmaking, artist support, and arts administration. A trained dancer herself, she brings creativity, empathy, and collaboration to her work supporting the arts sector.
