Celebrating Music Director Anthony Blake Clark’s Tenth Season
In 2026-27, Baltimore Choral Arts Society presents a series of three concerts that embrace musical and emotional journeys. With Arts and Humanities Artist-in-Residence Judith Krummeck, the chorus will explore themes of belonging and homecoming through American classics in the Fall, traditional holiday favorites at Christmas, and an exciting journey back in time in the Spring.
American Belonging

Author Judith Krummeck guides our listeners through a journey of American music and music about American ideals and migration through the lens of her book “Old New Worlds”, in which she explores her own immigration story from South Africa to the United States.

Christmas with Choral Arts

The Baltimore Basilica
The Baltimore Basilica will ring out with the joyful sounds of our 40+ year Baltimore tradition: Christmas with Choral Arts. The chorus will be joined by a brass ensemble to perform traditional carols and festive tunes. You’ll get to be part of the holiday magic as the audience participates in delightful singalongs throughout the evening.

Handel in Italy

The Baltimore Basilica
Baltimore Choral Arts follows a young George Frideric Handel from his German Lutheran beginnings to the brilliant Italian years that forged his distinctive artistic voice. With dramatic narrations and accompaniment from the Baltimore Baroque Band, this performance will take you on a journey through early 1700s Italy from the perspective of "Il Caro Sassone" ("the Dear Saxon," as he was affectionately nicknamed.)
